Abstract
This talk is an introduction to C++, but from a more practical perspective.
You will see why in Sabre we choose to use C++, and in fact why we had to migrate some of our Java-based applications to C++.
You will also see one characteristic and fundamental feature of C++: value semantics.
We will assume that you have at least a superficial knowledge of one of the programming languages from the C-family, like C, C++ or Java.
